So this month, our theme is spreading joy, and I want to give you a fun and easy way that you can do that!
We all know it's a busy, busy time. But we still want to take some time to focus on others, right? One suggestion I have for you is to create a love note station. I promise you, it's very simple.
All you have to do is gather some paper (I like to use construction paper, but any kind of paper would work!), markers, pens, and scissors. If you have stamps and ink pads that you could use on the paper, you can add that too - anything creative to make love notes.
The station alone is a great idea, but what makes it even better is creating and giving love notes away. You can give them to those in your household, guests that come to visit, or even give some away anonymously.
It's a great way to spread joy to those that you love. Just write people a little note encouraging them, saying what you love about them, or how happy you are to see them.
It doesn't have to be a really big production, just some small area in your home with supplies ready to go so that you and your kids and everyone can make notes and share them with each other. It's really, really fun.
I mentioned giving notes anonymously earlier and it's a lot of fun, too. You and your kids can make some notes and secretly drop them at a neighbor's front porch. If you're going to the bank drive-thru, send one to the teller. Stick some in books at the library. If you make them up early, you can have them ready-to-go in your purse or in your car.
Wherever you are, you'll have some encouraging notes for the season to give away. It's a great way to share as much joy as we can with others.
Have a great week and enjoy spreading some love!
